Billing
The Billing page is where Owners manage the organization's subscription: change plan, update payment method, view upcoming invoices, and download past receipts.
Only Owners can view and edit billing. Admins, Members, and Viewers don't see this page.
Plan Overview
The header card shows:
- Current plan name and tier.
- Status — active / past-due / cancelled.
- Billing cycle (monthly or yearly) and next renewal date.
- Currency-localized price.
- Headline limits — number of projects, members, secrets, audit log retention.
Changing Plan
- Click Compare Plans to open the pricing table.
- Pick a target plan and billing cycle.
- Click Preview — the dialog shows a prorated invoice (credit for unused days on the current plan, charge for the new plan).
- Confirm to switch immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period; upgrades are immediate.
Payment Method
Update the card on file from the Payment Method card. Cards are stored by the payment provider — EnvVault sees only the last 4 digits and brand.
If a charge fails, the page shows a banner with a Retry action. The org enters a 7-day grace period before downgrade.
Transaction History
The transaction list shows every charge, refund, and credit. Each row has:
- Date
- Description (plan name, period)
- Amount
- Status (paid / pending / failed / refunded)
- Download link for the PDF invoice
Cancelling
Click Cancel Subscription. The plan stays active until the end of the current period; you keep read-only access to your data afterwards. Cancellation can be undone from this page until the period ends.
Cancellation does not delete data. To permanently delete the organization, an Owner must use Profile → Danger Zone.
